Zan is a North Carolina native who, throughout her life, has always loved making art and being creative.  She was an art major at Meredith College for 2 years before graduating with a Textile Design degree from N.C. State.

Zan worked for years as a fabric designer for Wesley Mancini, in Charlotte NC, and then opened a women’s clothing boutique before becoming a proud mother of two.

She still lives in Charlotte and now spends her time and creativity on oil painting, focusing mainly on contemporary landscapes and figures.   She has studied with Andy Braitman and Kelly Sanford and continues to develop her skills everyday in her home studio.
